Three Valleys (Tre Valli) are those included in this large ski area, 100 kilometres of slopes available for the downhill and another 20 for cross country skiing. Three Valleys has 27 lifts, including 2 cablecar, 1 gondola, 15 chair lifts and 9 ski lifts. You can ski between highs ranging from 1.200 to 2.500 meters and the tracks are divided into 29 easy slopes, 18 medium and 7 black. Moreover, each area has its own snow park.
The localities of these Dolomiti Superski Area include the Valley Biois with the town of Falcade, Val di Fassa with Moena and Passo San Pellegrino. Three Valleys then touches the province of Belluno and Trento. From here the natural spectacle is privileged, skiers here can ski at the presence of peaks as Monzoni, Pale di San Martino, the Rosengarten and the Marmolada.
The area of Falcade offers views of the Marmolada, the Cime d'Auta, Civetta and Pelmo well as the Pale di San Martino and Focobon. From Falcade you can reach the Passo San Pellegrino with skis, but here you have to take the free ski bus to reach Moena. Here there are 7 lifts and from the village they climbs up to 2.513 metres of Col Margherita. From here the Track of Lovers which goes down to the village along 12 kilometres. You can ski on the top or at Le Buse slopes of medium difficulty. In total the routes stretching for 20 kilometres, including the runway back in town. In Falcade there is also a cross country ski center with 4 rings 2 of medium difficulty and 2 easy, 8 kilometres totally.
Almost at 2.000 meters of altitude there is Passo San Pellegrino, is a watershed between Moena and Falcade. It is' situated at the foothills of the Monzoni Chain. For the characteristic of its tracks is ideal for children. Here are 11 lifts including a gondola connecting the area of Falcade, 5 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts for the ski school fields. Here, there are about 60 kilometres of slopes, but including the adjacent area of Falcade, closely linked. The trails are mostly easy and the number of red slopes of medium difficulty is reduced. This is an area dedicated to training and relaxation, all have comfortable sun shelters. The cross country ski centre of Alochet has 4 rings of 15 kilometres two of these simple and a demanding circuit of 5 kilometres which is added an average difficulty for almost 8 kilometres long.
Moena
is an entrance gate to the Alpe Lusia. This ski resort has 8 modern
lifts, it is a gondola and a cable car, these are flanked by 5 chair
lifts and one that serves a school camp. The tracks cover 40 kilometres
of slopes, also including the area of the slope of Bellamonte to that
this area is connected, a black track runs from the Alp to Moena
approximately 4 kilometres of track. The slopes of medium difficulty are
16 kilometres long, while easy are 6 kilometres. At high altitude there
are many services to the skier as a Baby Club and a ski school.
To
connect the places of the Three Valleys there is the Tour of Love.
Starting from Falcade down to the pass, from here with the ski bus to
Moena and Alpe Lusia, then again suddenly in the last 6 kilometres and
ski down again to Falcade.
It seems that the name of the tour comes from the feeling experienced
by those who are in the presence of so many beautiful mountains.
